CFC 127: I love you so much

Hello again! I made another card inspired by Angela of Paper and Ribbons. You can find her beautiful card HERE.

I created this card for CAS-ual Fridays CFC 127 Over the edge challenge.

I cut an A2 card size about 1/4 inch smaller on all sides so that I can have those pretty hearts over the edge and still fit in an envelope.

I have a lot of white heart diecuts. Will have to save those for a future project.
Thanks for looking!

Dies: Lawn Fawn (Hearts)
Stamps: Mama Elephant (Love Quotes)
Paper: g. c. d studios (Daydream Ensemble)
Ink: Memento (Tuxedo Black)

Dare to be You

Hello everyone! Here's a card that I completed this morning for two challenges combined. Cas-ual Fridays and Retro Sketches.

It's not exactly Clean and Simple, but for me it is.

Here are the combined challenges.

The Cas-ual Friday challenge was to use craft paper and text. I wanted my patterned paper to match the craft paper so I added some beige tissue paper on top.

I added glue to the paper and spritzed it with water. I used a brush with more diluted glue and smooshed the tissue paper to the patterned paper. Do you remember doing this in elementary school? The old school decoupage method.

I let them dry on some clear acetate scraps and cut them out when they were dry.

I liked the Dare to be You sentiment. The card in a way is crazy, different and daring.

Thanks for looking. Have a great day!

Materials used:
Paper: Kraft paper, cardboard, Colorbok (Beach House)
Stamp: Verve (Dare to be)
Ink: Stampin' Up (Baked Brown Sugar)
Misc: Yarn, Drops were from a grab bag from a scrapbook convention. Maker unknown.

Oh, fun!

I feel like this card. I have the moods of the owls. So tired. So blah. So bored. But my mind is racing with ideas, colors, creative restlessness and screaming out, "Oh, fun!"  I love coloring with my Copic markers. It's just so relaxing for me. I'm loving Cas-ual Friday's current color scheme. Love it. Love it. Love it!

Supplies used:
